Ingredients:
- 3 cups flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ cup oil
- 1 cup boiling water
- 15 apples (Granny Smith or other baking apples)
- 1 ½ c sugar
- 5 Tbsp tapioca
- ¼ cup butter
- Cinnamon
Mix flour, salt, baking powder. Add in oil, stir to combine, then add boiling water. Mix well. Turn out on floured board and knead for 2 minutes.
Separate dough into 3 balls. Leave them on the floured board, covered with a bowl, for half an hour.
Meanwhile slice apples, combine with sugar, tapioca, and butter.
Roll out each ball of dough separately, very thin.
Top each round with apple mixture; sprinkle with cinnamon. Carefully roll each round into a log.
Place logs on ungreased or lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for just under an hour (check at 50 minutes).
