- 2 eggs
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tsp baking soda
- ½ cup nuts (probably chopped walnuts or pecans)
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 jar/can of apricot cake and pastry filling or about a cup of apricot jam
Mix all ingredients by hand. Pour into greased 9 x 13 pan, bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup butter, softened
- 1 1/3 cups powdered sugar
- 1 tps vanilla
Beat frosting ingredients until combined and fluffy. Spread over warm cake.
